After years of silence, Betty Andreasson contacted UFO researcher J. Allen Hynek to report an abduction which took place in 1967. She was subjected to several forms of hypnosis in order to recover memories of the abduction and came to report a very different abduction scenario from those typically reported. Instead of the usual threat and menace of abductions, Betty claimed to have been taken up by Jesus Christ worshipping Greys and exposed to a universal power called The One.
In the history of alien abductions, this one, in particular, is a wild departure from those more popularly known by way of Betty and Barney Hill and Whitley Streiber. The typical abduction scenario is terrifying, with scenes of sexual abuse and human experimentation. Andreasson’s experience here is much more positive and beautiful in its scope and I can only hope that when the aliens finally come for me, it’ll be like hers.
