This is the episode where UFOs and Alien lore cross over with magic. Archons play a large role in the world of gnosticism, that is that the creative force of the world, known as The Demiurge, was a fallen, imperfect being that is separate from but worshipped on earth as the one true God. To keep its own creations in line, The Demiurge created 9 cursed keepers to make sure that the wool stays pulled over the eyes of humanity: The Archons. Maybe they’re angels, maybe they’re demons, maybe they’re cosmic beings beyond all that and they’re really these petulent little baby monsters that attach themselves to your pussy/bussy. It’s anybody’s guess, really.
For many of the fringe’s fringiest thinkers, the secret knowledge about the origin of mankind and our role in the grand cosmic design lies at the heart of Seres, a cosmic race of beings meant to help us break the chains and manifest our true potential. Either that, or they’re the same cosmic beings that made a bet somewhere back in deep time that we’d evolve to figure it all out on our own.
