Info
Grigori Rasputin was an incredibly weird dude, a Russian mystic and a holy man that beyond all logic managed to somehow infiltrate the last czar of Russia, Nicholas II, prior to the Russian Revolution. He leveraged his influenced with the royal family to wield great power and privilege in the last days of tsarist Russia.
Rasputin (pronounced by hitting the RA in his name as hard as you can — RAAAAAsputin) began life as an ordinary peasant in Siberia and claimed to have had numerous religious revelations when making pilgrimages to various monasteries around Russia. Though, he had no official standing in Russia’s Russian Orthodox Church, he still managed to capture the attention of Russian society figures around St. Petersburg before demonstrating a strange ability to keep the sickly Romanov son healthy simply by being near him.
Not all was great for Rasputin, however. In spite of his pull with the Romanovs, revolution was brewing as World War 1 rattled to life in Europe and in the twilight of the Tsarist years, Russian nobles and government figures began to plot against him, culminating in a truly legendary assassination attempt, or rather series of attempts that after a great deal of effort managed to kill the guy.
His penis was absolutely massive, which explained a few things.
