Info

Satanism can be a lot of fun if you let Satan into your heart, man. It doesn’t have to be all about murder and Satanic Ritual Abuse. You can just take on the mantle of self-actualization and see yourself at the center of your reality. Maybe you want to worship Satan as a god, and that’s ok, I guess, as long as no one is getting hurt. But let’s be honest, the horned God at the altar of the world, shining light on the truth, that mankind is responsible for saving itself is a much more tantalizing prospect than seeing yourself as this scumbag sinner that needs a messiah savior to give meaning to your life.

Nowadays, there’s no shortage of outlets for Satanic spiritual expression. Maybe you want to go classic and join Anton LaVey’s original Church of Satan. Maybe they’re too stuffy and fascist for you and you want something new school and trendy like The Satanic Temple. Or maybe there’s not enough magic in it for you and want to join Michael Aquino’s Temple of Set (beware, though. That dude was up to some nefarious shit). Maybe you like a little kitsch and fun with your satanism and Our Lady Of Endor is more your speed. Take your pick!

This episode explores all the popular strains of satanism and is responsible for the classic Last Podcast sign offs of Hail Satan, Hail Yourself, and (eventually) Hail Gein.
