Info

Katherine Knight is the first woman in Australia to be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murder of her partner, John Price. Knight, having a reputation for extreme violence stabbed Price to death in October of 2001 and then took crazy to the next level when she butchered his body and cooked the meat, serving it to his children. Knight is among the world’s most unique killers in the same sense as Aileen Wuornos.

Price and Knight had a violent relationship which culminated in Price seeking a restraining order against her. The two reconciled after a time, during which they had sex followed by Knight’s brutal stabbing and butchering of Price’s body. Several hours after the murder, Katherine skinned Price and hung his skin in a doorway and then prepared the meat of his body with vegetables and served the meal at a table with place cards left for each of his children. Price’s severed head was found in a pot with the vegetables and what remained of his body was casually posed in a chair.

The body was found with a note crudely written by Knight, accusing Price of raping her daughter. No evidence ever surfaced that Price was guilty of any such crime and Price was murdered out of pure rage.
