Vril: The Power of the Coming Race by Edward Bulwer-Lytton

Info

What did the Nazis know that the rest of us didn’t? A cornerstone of the German Nazi philosophy during World War 2 was recapturing a lost sense of heritage, a sort of Make Germany Great Again vibe and to facilitate this, the SS instituted its own sort of racial research unit, The Ahnenerbe. But for all the reminiscing for a pagan Europe that never really existed for The German people, there was a force behind the scenes directing the spiritual path of Nazi Germany.

Heinrich Himmler, Hitler’s number 2 man, operated independently during the war. He sought out physical artifacts of religious significance and received consultation from a aristocratic order of German occultists named The Thule Society, which subscribed to Theosophical concepts like the Aryan Root Race. What’s more, he planned a sort of SS round table of knights from the heart of the castle at Wewelsburg based heavily around the esoteric practice and philosophy of Holy Grail mythology.

And that’s to say nothing of the alleged Vril Society, an order of beautiful long-haired witches in direct contact with cosmic alien forces which advised them on the development of a free energy platform to be used with a secret weapon know in conspiracy circles as Die Glocke, a mysterious UFO weapon that came to the battlefield too late to make a difference. The legend of the Vril Society also has ties to Hollow Earth theory in the belief that the forces of Vril energy came from a hidden society within the hollow Earth.
