Pee Wee Gaskins was a ridiculously short piece of white trash from South Carolina responsible for the murder of 9 people, officially, although he claims the number is closer to 110. Because no one gives a shit about this about this clown, the only detailed document of his crime is his own autobiography, The Final Truth, which is full of sickening feats of murder, torture, and rape that only a tiny man, desperate to sow fear in the people around him could conceive of.
His rants often sound like the also-made-up murderous tall tales of white trash killing machine, Henry Lee Lucas. The details of many of his crimes are still quite sickening, though the motives for his actual documented murders are more or less related to covering up for his other criminal enterprises. He was, for certain, mean as hell and ultimately went down for 8 murders. He was sentenced to death and then had his death sentence commuted when the US put a moratorium on death penalties.
While on Death Row, he somehow managed to carry out a contract killing on a nearby death row inmate, Rudolph Tyner, by building a small bomb out of plastic explosives and a transistor radio, convincing Tyner that it was to be used for communicating with other cells in the prison. To hear best, Tyner had to hold it up his ear. For his trouble, he would be tried for Tyner’s death after the US had reinstated the death penalty and was sentenced to die in the electric chair.
